Dr. John Turner

Dr John Turner moved to South Carolina November 2022 as Division Medical Director for Forward Pathology Solutions/HCA Pathology. He held the same position for the Capital division in Richmond Virginia, where he practiced for over 15 years.

Dr Turner grew up in Danville, Virginia, and after attending Yale University, graduated from Medical College of Virginia. He completed his Anatomic/Clinical Pathology residencies as well as Dermatopathology fellowship at Duke University.

He served multiple terms as President of the Virginia Society for Pathology, on multiple CAP committees, and as Chief of Staff at CJW Medical Center during the COVID epidemic. He and his wife Kristi live on Daniel Island, SC.

Dr. Jay Alden

Dr. Alden attended medical school in West Virginia before completing residency in Charleston at Medical University of South Carolina. He currently practices primarily general surgical pathology in Greenville,  SC with an interest in GI and Liver pathology and medical education.

Dr. Mesrop Ayapetyan

Mesrop Ayrapetyan, MD completed his BS degree in biology at the University of North Carolina at Charlotte. He completed his Medical Degree at the UNC School of Medicine where he also completed his residency training in anatomic and clinical pathology. This was followed by subspecialty fellowship training in surgical pathology at UNC Hospitals. His special interests include gastrointestinal, gynecologic, and genitourinary pathology.
